MSG(Monosodium Glutamate) is a chemical that has been commonly used in Asian cuisine for decades. It is also a prominent part of Asian Fast Food in many countries.
But people know it mostly from the No MSG signs hung outside Chinese restaurants and present in numerous instant food packets.
And this is how we know, many people believe that MSG is something that harms your health.
But the truth is, it doesn’t.
MSG is just a combination of sodium and a naturally-occurring substance that is already present in our body.
As a matter of fact, glutamic acid is made by human cells. And many healthy foods have high concentrations of it.
And as for sodium, there is less of it in MSG than there is in table salt.
Yet, people lose it when it comes to MSG.
